And We Laughed, Even Though We Shouldn’t Have

May 19th, 2008

As we near the end of the school year, everyone is getting anxious to leave for a well-deserved break.  The lovely “there’s no pizza in Italy” student was at it again today.

While in math class, the students were learning about different shapes, such as cubes, pyramids, cones, etc.  We, eventually, had to cut the shapes out and make 3D models of them.  When the teacher was going through the definitions of the shapes, we got to the rectangular prism.

Fantastically, this student said, “A rectangular prison?  You mean like this school?”
