The future of SyFy
I really hate the SciFi channel. First, it got rid of great old TV shows, like The Twilight Zone, Star Trek, and MST3K, among others. Then, they yank shows like Farscape and The Invisible Man. These shows, along with Stargate SG-1 are far superior than the moronic fare that airs on network TV.
Syfy, however, sticks to the low-brow stuff that gives them instant ratings instead of looking at the bigger picture that will bring them profits for years to come. They start putting on garbage after garbage on, the cheaper the better. It’s made for TV movies are crap. Piranhaconda, really? Now, it’s full of wrestling and ghost shows. It’s a shame that it was once a channel that I’d happily watch, yet now run from. Then again, what can you expect when your new channel name is a slang word for syphilis?
