How I feel as an atheist

There aren’t many Holocaust survivors left in the world. Though many of their stories have been documented, it’s always good to have more.
Yesterday, on reddit, an 82 year old Ukrainian Holocaust survivor relayed answers to questions from redditors through his grandson. It would be beneficial if everyone took some time to read the post.
Oh, and get a box of tissues before you start reading.
Paul says this is how showers basically go. I wouldn’t know. I only get the two minute part because Paul uses up all the hot water before I ever get there.
Picture via reddit. If you read the comments on reddit, be prepared to learn of how careless people are when they shower. And gross.
Want to waste a bunch of time and learn stuff? Head over to reddit and read about the Biggest History Mindfucks folks have had. Here’s some stuff you’ll learn.
Mississippi didn’t ratify the 13th amendment (Prohibition of slavery) until 1995, only 16 years ago.
In Australia, the Aboriginal Kuuk Thaayore people use compass directions for every spatial cue, for example, “There is an ant on your southeast leg.” The people’s traditional greeting is “Where are you going?”, essentially requiring that each person be familiar with the cardinal directions at all times. A word of warning though. You will spend 2-3 hours reading every single post here. Be prepared.
So, I head on over to reddit this morning, like I do every morning to see what’s new. This is the number four story on my front page.
I naturally read all the comments, making my self more paranoid and then head over to the link, which is on Wikipedia. I keep trying to tell myself that Wikipedia is not always accurate, but it doesn’t help. I keep reading there and am now convinced that I’m probably some sort of carrier or something, which freaks me out even more. A glutton for punishment, I then watch this video on toxoplasmosis. Now, not only am I freaked out, I’m never going to sleep again.
So, to minimize your risks, don’t eat cat poop or undercooked meat. Also, sell your car. If you’re infected, you’re more likely to have an accident.
Still, I’ll probably not remember this article in three hours and I won’t ever bother to make a doctor’s appointment to check things out, so you probably shouldn’t hang around me. I’ve probably got other diseases like this hanging out inside me just waiting to infect other people.
