		<description>I am not sure who you are but thank you for putting this in your blog.  I too was a friend of Matt, I was on the same course at Salford.  In fact, a few of us used to pop down to Paston to see him now and again, the last time was in 2005.

I have tried to contact him a few times since but, as you state, his condition was grave.  I did not worry too much as I remember him mentioning the possibility of joining his parents in Ireland if things got too much.

Matt was a fun guy and will be sorely missed.  I have passed on the URL of your blog to another of Salford&#039;s Aero Eng motley crew, Mark. He too will be sad to have confirmation of Matt&#039;s passing.

And if/when you contact Matt&#039;s parents again, give them my best regards.
